In the last decade, Tennessee has experienced remarkable economic growth and community colleges have played an integral role in the progress. From Providing short-term programs to customized, long-term initiatives, Tennessee community colleges have developed innovative strategies to meet the workforce training needs of their local community. During the past three years, Tennessee community colleges proved training for more than 1500 industries and small businesses across the State. During that same period, more than 150,000 employees received training in skills ranging from GED preparation to computer network administration.
